Film Production

Development - This is simply the process of 'finding' a story. Ideas for films come from a variety of sources, they can range from novels, real life events to computer game adaptations. Once you've got an idea you'll need someone to write a pitch for you which you take to a film producer in an attempt to get some funding to make your film. Even at this very early stage you need a very clear idea of who you're aiming you film at so you can include elements that will appeal to them.
Pre-production - Once you've got funding you establish your budget and can begin to get a film crew together, you can storyboard the script. You also need break the script down into individual scenes and identify all the locations, props, cast members, costumes, special effects and visual effects needed.
Production - This is simply the process of 'making' the film. Provided you've done your job properly in the pre-production stage making the film should be straight forward. 'Film' is very expensive and difficult to store so an increasing number of film makers are using digital cameras to save money.
Post-production - During this stage you take all the 'film' you've shot and give it to a film editor. They will then begin putting it together. Special effects will be added, a soundtrack will be added, any missing dialogue will be re-recorded and added resulting in a 'rough cut'. This will be shown to the director and a test audience who will offer feedback. Often this causes scenes to be filmed and added or removed.

Representation of Myself.

My representation of myself is that i may come across as a dump blonde due to my hair colour and the way i talk because i use 'like' and 'errm' a lot with everything i say. I sometimes can be over friendly and talk too much which some people may think of me as over confident or even annoying. I don't wear very much makeup and rawly dress up or dress over the top so i dress and look very natural. My fashion sense is a bit of everything, i sometimes like to wear really girly and cute clothing but then i sometimes wear dark and baggy clothing. I am small for my age which may come across as i am timid and shy. I listen to all sorts of music from chart music to alternative music to heavy metal. From UK Tribes i catorgrised myself as 'creatives'. They are people that are motivated by the desire to produce orginial content and pursue their dreams as a 'career creative'. This tribe unites various disciplines including fashion, art, design, music, photography, dance and drama.

The Man (Doug Bihlmaier)

From this image my representation of this man was that he was a tramp and because of that he had no money and no friends or family. I also thought that because he was smoking he would therefore smell which linked with his beard that come across that he had poor hygiene. The clothing that he was wearing is what made me believe he was a tramp. The patched up trousers, scruffy fashion senses, old looking jacket and shirt. But due to the way he was standing with good posture made him look confident.

But then i found out that he was a worker in a Ralph Lauren shop, collecting all the features and objects that were placed around the shop and took them to other Ralph Lauren shops so they all looked the same. In this picture though he is on a famous high street in New York smoking on his break outside a Ralph Lauren shop. He is well known for his unique and different fashion sense. The trousers have got patch work on them but it has been stitched well and they are clean, also the shirt and jacket are both clean and fit him well. But the shoes are very expensive although scuffed they are expensive and are a well known make.

The Man 2 (Ted Bundy)

From this image my representation of this man was that he looks very serious but distracted by something. Also that he is dressed in a casual suited jacket meaning he is dressed well or well presented. He seems to have been reading something off the paper which means he is intelligent. From the surroundings he looks to be in court or in a library.

But then i found at that he was a american serial killer, rapist, kidnapper and necrophiliac who assaulted and killed numerous women during the 1970's. He would dress up smartly to look handsome and in his well known Volkswagen he would persuade women with his looks and charm to come into his car then kidnap them to kill, rape or torture. In this image he is in court after being court for the first name of rape and kidnap and was put into prison for a number of years but later escaped to commit more crimes. In the end he owned up to all 30 kidnaps and deaths and was sentenced to death.

The Women (Anna Piaggi)

From this image my representation of this women was that she was dressed brightly and very uniquely but tried to look expensive and special to stand out. In this image she was no real facial expression but looked heavily made up. She has strong posture and body positioning. To me from this image she shows no fashion senses or color coordination and from the back ground she looks like she may live in flats in the rough area of London.

But then i found out that she is a very well known Italian fashion writer style icon. She is known for her very bright and different fashion style and that she never wore the same outfit twice. In this image she is in London and its London Fashion, because she was a fashion writer she got all her clothes from designers and models, so her clothing here is all very expensize and a designer brand.

Films from the summer

Monsters Univeristy.

I was persuaded to watch this movie at the cinema due to the adverts i had seen on the television, it was a good advert that showed all the best and funny parts in the film that attracted me to watch it. I also wanted to watch this movie because i had seen the pervious film 'monsters inc' and really enjoyed that film so i know 'monsters university' was a must see.

I enjoyed watching the film because i had watched the previous film and understood what was going on in this film, also because it was very funny and entertaining to watch.

Superman Man of Steel.

I was persuaded to watch this movie at the cinema due to the fact that the reviews i had heard from friends and read in magazine said that the film was 'a must see' and 'brilliant movie' which attracted me to go watch. Also because i had see previous superman movies and knew how good they had all been and was intrigued to know if this film could be any better then the others.

I did enjoy this film because it meet all the expectations i had of the film and was full of action and excitment which made the film that little bit more enjoyable.
